Cloudscrapers is a city-building game where you’re not spreading out across a map—you’re building straight up. One tower, endlessly tall, and everything your citizens need has to fit inside it. That’s the whole hook, and it sounds simple until you realize you’ve got people living on floor 47 who need food, water, power, and a job, and all of it has to come from somewhere else in the same building. So you start stacking: housing here, a farm a few floors up, a water recycler below that, offices to pay for it all, and elevators threading through the middle of everything. Get the layout wrong and you’ll choke your own tower—too many people using one elevator shaft, a power plant pumping out pollution right next to apartments, that kind of thing.

Your residents have opinions, too. Keep them happy and the tower grows; ignore them and they leave, which stalls your income and slows everything down. There are random disasters to deal with, new building types to unlock as you climb higher, and a slow difficulty curve that sneaks up on you around the time you hit floor 30 and realize your economy is held together with tape. It’s relaxing in the way that management games are relaxing right up until they aren’t, and the vertical twist does enough to make it feel different from the hundred other city builders out there.
