Shady Job is a first-person crime simulation game that drops you into the worn shoes of a small-time hustler trying to claw their way up the criminal food chain in a rain-soaked, morally grey city, where every job is a gamble and every stranger is either a mark, a threat, or a future partner. The core of the experience is a tense, choice-driven loop where you take on illicit contracts from shady fixers, corrupt officials, and underground kingpins—everything from package drops and lock-picking heists to blackmail, smuggling, and intimidation—and each mission plays out in a semi-open sandbox where you decide how to approach it: quietly, violently, or with a silver tongue.

You case locations, pick locks, disable alarms, bribe or blackmail your way past security, and improvise when things go sideways, because the game rarely lets you restart a botched job; instead, you live with the consequences, whether that’s a bigger payout, a bruised reputation, a police tail, or a target who now wants you dead. Between jobs, you manage your safehouse, fence stolen goods, invest in better tools and disguises, and build relationships with a cast of unreliable characters who remember how you treated them. There’s no morality meter telling you what’s right or wrong, just a living world that reacts to your choices, and the constant, gnawing question of how far you’re willing to go before the shady life swallows you whole.
