Smoke & Lottery Simulator is a darkly comedic life sim about chasing easy money and slowly wrecking yourself in the process. You play as someone stuck in a dead-end routine who decides the fastest way out is scratch cards, lotto tickets, and whatever else the corner store is selling. The whole game is built around that gamble, and it doesn’t pretend the odds are good. You buy tickets, scratch them off, and watch the vast majority come up empty while your wallet gets thinner.

The core loop is a risk-reward grind. You earn money through small jobs, odd tasks, or selling stuff you don’t need, then you pour it back into tickets, cigarettes, and whatever else keeps the day moving. There’s a stats system tracking your health, stress, and addiction levels, and the more you smoke, the more you need breaks, the worse your focus gets, and the more money you burn trying to feel better. Lottery wins do happen, and when they do, the game dangles bigger prizes in front of you—better tickets, higher stakes, private draws—so you keep pushing your luck. Some runs end with a big payout. Most end with you broke and coughing.

What gives it personality is the tone. It’s bleak but funny, with a grimy art style, a cast of sketchy characters, and a shopkeeper who’s way too happy to see you back again. There’s usually some kind of progression, like upgrading your apartment or unlocking new ticket types, but the real arc is whether you can walk away before the habit eats you alive.

It’s a niche game with a niche sense of humor, and it’s not going to be for everyone. But if you like sims that use their mechanics to say something rather than just pass the time, it’s an interesting one.
