You explore the building floor by floor, searching offices, basements and hidden rooms for keys, tools, letters and the clues that tie it all together. Puzzles are item-based, and the game isn’t shy about punishing a wrong move. The twist is what you don’t get: there’s no combat at all. When the killer is nearby, you listen, you find a hiding spot, you learn his routes and you wait for your moment. Getting caught isn’t a fight you can win.
